Floe does a slight twirl as she descends in the midst of the ring. "Seems discussions have come to an end. Let's see where they have gone." Aquamarine runs over to jump on her lap and she muses over the answers while petting the cat.
"For the first of the questions, asking who the victims were. It is a pity their names weren't discovered, but we shall make do with what we have."
{Who are they?}"With the pirate's notes and their imprisonment, they do seem like victims. Their robes are those of adherents to the guardian Maoh Kin, the god of volcanoes."
"In general, this theory is sound."
"In general, this theory is sound."
{"Now for the next question of, how they were killed."}"With the evidence presented, it appears the man indeed met his end at the docks. However, the blood at the train station is more likely Kelly's as she was seen bleeding out there. The robed woman does not have any major wounds aside from bleeding from struggling against the shackles."
"The Pirate's Captain is accused of these crimes, and those notes do indicate her as the mastermind. However, she was unable to act due to the sisters, so who was the one to carried out her plans. A closer examination revealed further wounds hidden beneath the man's burn scars, two puncture wounds of uneven depth parallel to each other and a long rounded wound. Seeing as the Mask spotted the mechanic in the airship dock, and she struck the Medic with a wrench later in the evening. The water trail also comes in from the stairway, and goes through the glitter. From what the Mask's had done elsewhere, it wouldn't be too far of a leap to assume she had done something to the mechanic. With this, one can conclude that the mechanic is the accomplice. It seems that the flames were what ultimately killed him, so your theory is still correct."
"As a follower of the god of volcanoes, it wouldn't be surprising if the man conjured the flames himself. The scorching around his mouth could indicate that he was gagged and desperate enough to attempt to melt his binds. Might he have wished to call for help or speak some sense into the woman? We may never know."

{Followed by, why did they die?}"From the pirate's reports, they had been kidnapping and these two appear to be the latest of their victims."
"Who is this 'mother' of theirs. I would very much have liked to meet this captain. Have a little conversation about their 'mother.' If anyone happens upon her, would you pass along an invitation?"

{And ending with how did they end up in the ravine?}"The charring in the war room sounds more like a byproduct of the sisters fighting with the pirate's captain. If the priestess had been there, I'm sure the sisters would have seen her."
Floe pats the cat's head, and one might notice a purple taint seeping into the blue crystal.
"This little one says the drag trails resembled that of a heavy round object, the iron ball around the victim's legs perhaps. This trail originates in the prison, joins the blood trail at the docks, and ends at the bottom of the stairway. Perhaps the runes in the prison had something to do with the lack of struggle along the way. In her apathetic state, she could even be the one to carry the man from the cage into the ravine. It probably wouldn't be hard to convince one emotionless to do your bidding. Maybe the shock of the water was what finally shook her out of her stupor, as she finally realized what was happening while sinking toward the depths."

"You've answered the questions adequately. A few flaws here and there, but they were all generally correct. As the culprits aren't present, it'll be difficult to mete out punishment. I suppose a bounty will do. The pirate's captain will be worth 3 gold and the mechanic worth 2. If you can bring them alive, I'll give you an extra coin."
"Now for your efforts in this investigation."
Floe claps her hands and the gemstone cats pop up to hand a small pouch with 3 gold pieces inside.
